Malayalam poet and lyricist Anil Panachooran dies after suffering cardiac arrest

Well known Malayalam poet and lyricist Anil Panachooran passed away while undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. The poet suffered a cardiac arrest while at the hospital. He was 51 and is survived by wife Maya and their children Maitreyi and Arun. Panchooran will be remembered for writing lyrics for movies like 'Arabi Katha' and poetry collections like 'Akshethriyude Atmageetam'.
