Maoists blow up vehicle in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada, 1 dead, 11 injured

A labourer lost his life whereas 11 others sustained injuries in an improvised explosive device blast as Maoists blew up a vehicle they were travelling in. According to Dantewada superintendent of police Abhishek Pallava, the incident happened at around 7:30 am near Ghotiya village. Three of the 11 injured are said to have sustained critical injuries. “It was a command IED triggered by Maoists as we have found wires," the SP said.
