A Parliamentary panel led by senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh was informed by the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Biotechnology, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the principal scientific adviser to the government, that a vaccine for coronavirus is likely to be available by early next year. Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu said the panel meeting was delayed due to Covid19.
