Moderna's coronavirus candidate appeared safe in an early safety study. The study found that the vaccine candidate produced virus-neutralizing antibodies in older adults. The antivirus levels generated in older adults were similar to those seen in younger adults. Two doses of Moderna’s Covid19 vaccine candidate - 25 micrograms and 100 micrograms - were tested on 40 adults aged 56 to 70 and 71 and older.
