MPs want to leave BSNL, MTNL over poor network coverage

The frequent call drops and poor network connectivity have left many Members of Parliament fuming as they now demand their official telecommunications providers, government-owned BSNL and MTNL should be allowed to be replaced. After hearing their complaints, the House Committee of the Rajya Sabha, headed by BJP’s Om Mathur, has proposed that the MPs to be allowed to switch to a private service provider.
