Multi-Millionaire buys football club, becomes Manager himself and signs 15 players

Glenn Tamplin, a 47-year-old multi-millionaire businessman from Britain marked his return to non-league football, buying a new club Romford Town. If that was not enough, he sacked the entire coaching staff and appointed himself manager. Tamplin termed it as a "hobby" to avoid boredom. He had also bought Billericay Town on December 16, where he was a manager and had led the team to the FA Cup first round.
