Mumbai school student scales Ladakh's Mt Mentok Kangri II

Kaamya Karthikeyan, a student of Navy Children School in Mumbai, has summitted her 2nd 'above 6,000 meters' peak, Mt Mentok Kangri II on August 24. The peak is 6,262 meters (20,544 feet) above sea level overlooking the Tso Moriri lake in Ladakh. Karthikeyan, daughter of a naval officer, had earlier scaled another 'above 6,000m' peak, Mt Stok Kangri two years ago becoming the youngest in the world to achieve the feat.
