Navy’s MiG fighter jet crashes in Goa, pilot ejects safely

A MiG 29K fighter jet of the Indian Navy has reportedly crashed in Goa. The fighter plane crashed shortly after taking off in Goa on Saturday. The 2 trainee pilots, who were flying the jet, ejected safely and a search and rescue operation is on. MiG 29K is the aircraft carrier version of the MiG 29 stationed at INS Hansa Dabolim and designated for Aircraft Carrier INS Vikramaditya. MIG crashes have caused 210 deaths since 1970.
