Nearly 50 percent of women in 57 countries face restrictions on their body: UN

According to a report by the United Nations Population Fund, nearly half the women in 57 countries around the world don't have complete rights on what they can do with their bodies. As per the report titled "My Body is My Own", women in these countries face restrictions on issues like sex, use of contraception and healthcare. The report says that women in these countries face attacks ranging from rape to forced sterilization.
