NHAI data posted online by hacker, more data under risk

Singapore-based cybersecurity firm Cyfirma has revealed that hackers have posted data on the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) website such as financial records, contract documents, and employee information, online. The hackers posted the data online on July 2. NHAI had denied the reports of its data being at risk on May 31. However, the NHAI confirmed on June 28 that it was targetted by a ransomware.
