A Mumbai-based vegetable vendor identified as Narayan Jadhav was duped of Rs 39.8 lakh by seven persons. The man was duped by the seven accused on the pretext of opening a shopping mall. Jadhav received a friend request on Facebook from a person named Mercy Grace in February and the woman told him that she worked with the US Army in Afghanistan and wanted to open a mall in Mumbai. The 7 accused included 1 Nigerian national.
