No ban on crackers this year but few restrictions: Supreme Court

Don’t know if it’s good news or bad but the Supreme Court has allowed the sale of firecrackers for Diwali. But It has imposed few restrictions on its selling. In its verdicts today the SC said that only ‘green firecrackers’ will be allowed to be sold. Further, it said e-commerce portals cannot sell crackers as the court has put a stay on them. People are only allowed to burst crackers from 8 pm to 10 pm on 7th November.
