No violation of fundamental rights in denying women entry to NDA, INA: Centre

The centre has told the Supreme Court that there is no violation of fundamental rights in denying entry to women in the National Defence Academy or the Indian Naval Academy. The centre said this in response to a plea filed by lawyer Kush Kalra. The centre argued that the male cadets trained at the prestigious academies do not have any automatic advantage in future career advancement prospects over the women.
