Number of operational ATMs declined to 1.06 lakh from 1.09 lakh

On Friday, the Reserve Bank of India presented its annual report and revealed that there is a decline in the number of ATMs in India from 2.08 lakh in FY17 to 2.07 lakh in FY18. Further, it informed that there is also a decline in operational on-site ATMs from 1.09 lakh in FY17 to 1.06 lakh in FY18 and then it stated that there is an increase in the number of off-site ATMs from 98,545 in FY17 to 1 lakh this year.
