Overloaded boat capsizes in northwest Nigeria, more than 150 feared dead

In an unfortunate incident, an overloaded boat carrying passengers to a market sank after capsizing in the Niger river. The incident happened in northwest Nigeria on Wednesday. More than 150 people were feared to be drowned in the incident. According to National Inland Waterways Authority local manager Yusuf Birma, the capacity of the boat was up to 180 passengers and "only 20 people have been rescued alive."
