Pak becomes the first nation to launch New Typhoid Vaccine

Karachi in Pakistan became first in the world to introduce a new typhoid vaccine. This has also been approved by the World Health Organization (WHO). The new vaccines have been procured by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, to the Pak government without any cost. Azra Pechuho, the health minister said that they would be having an immunization camp where they would target over 10 million children of nine months to 15 years of age
