In a one of its kind announcement, Mizoram's Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Minister Robert Romawia Royte said a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh will be given to the parent having the highest number of children in his Assembly constituency. Royte made the announcement to encourage population growth among the demographically small Mizo communities. "Mizoram has a population density of only 52 persons per sq km," he said.
