In a massive success for the Covid vaccination campaign worldwide, the Pfizer vaccine candidate was found 94% effective against the virus in a mass real-world study conducted over 1.2 million people in Israel. "This is the first peer-reviewed large scale evidence for the effectiveness of a vaccine in real world conditions," said Ben Reis, a researcher at Harvard Medical School. The efficacy of the vaccine was close to 95%.
