Bharat Biotech has started the phase 3 trials of the novel coronavirus vaccine. 26,000 volunteers from all across the country will take part in the trials. The trials will be conducted by the firm in partnership with ICMR and this is the largest clinical trial conducted for a COVID-19 vaccine in India. The volunteers will get two intramuscular injections in the difference of 28 days. It will be a double-blinded trial.
