Piped water to every home in 15 years would cost $270 billion: BofAML

In the last 4-years, central and state govt have spent around $75 billion on water-related projects. However, according to Amish Shah, co-head (India research), BofAML, the project to have piped water in every household in the next 15 years, will cost around $270 billion. Along with that, the ability to implement these projects on the ground in extremely challenging and for the success of projects, state participation is needed.
