The Jamia protest tale has taken a swift turn after the statement of the Solicitor General. The Solicitor General of India, Tushar Mehta claimed in front of the Supreme Court that the police were allowed by the proctor of the university to enter the campus premises. The statement came after several University authorities accused the police of entering the University campus illegally without any permission.
