Rajnath Singh officially receives India's first Rafale jet in France

The wait is finally over as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who is on a three-day visit to France, receives India's first Rafale jet from France. He also performed a Shastra puja on the aircraft and will take a sortie in the Rafale combat aircraft. Today is a historic day for Indian armed forces, said Singh. India had signed a deal worth Rs. 59,000 crore with France for the procurement of 36 Rafale fighter jets in Sept 2016.
