The Indian government has directed Twitter authorities to take down 1178 Pakistani-Khalistani accounts spreading misinformation about the ongoing farmers' protest against the three new farm laws. Twitter is yet to take action against the said accounts. The directive from the Centre comes after the 'toolkit' controversy that emerged after tweets of Rihanna, Mia Khalifa and Greta Thunberg in connection with the protests.
