This is for the 2nd time that after Afghanistan and Iraq, India is the world’s 3rd country badly affected by terrorism. Till 2015, Pakistan was the 3rd most affected country by terrorism. CPI is a Maoist group which has carried out 53% of the total attacks in India. It is the 4th most dangerous terrorist group after Islamic State, Taliban, and Al-Shabaab, as per the data released by the US Department of State.
