Roula Khalaf becomes 1st woman editor for Financial Times in its 131-year history

For the 1st time in 131-year history, Financial Times appoints a woman editor. Roula Khalaf will become the 1st woman to edit FT after Lionel barber's exit in Jan. Khalaf said, "Its a great honour to be appointed as the editor of FT, the greatest news organisation in the world". She has served as deputy editor, foreign editor & Middle East editor during her tenure that spanned more than 2 decades at the salmon-pink newspaper.
