RT-PCR testing kits get approval from ICMR & NIV, which were jointly developed by diagnostic firm iGenetic Diagnostics & Biogenomics, a biopharma company. The kits are expected to be available in the market in some weeks. RT-PCR test is a nuclear-derived method for detecting the presence of genetic material. Biogenomics director Archana Krishnan says they are proud to join forces with iGenetic in the fight against coronavirus.
