A high-level bilateral meet is underway between the Russian Secretary of Security Council Nikolai and Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. The two sides are discussing the emerging situation in Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover. "The consultations reflect the desire, importance and potential for a significant increase in political-security cooperation between India and Russia in Afghanistan," sources said.
