Russia's COVID vaccine may soon be available in India with approval of drug regulator

Kirill Dmitriev, the CEO of the Russian Development Investment Fund, which funded the development of Russia's coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V, has said that India may soon get its stock of vaccine once the Drug Controller General gives its nod for the trials. Managing Director of Dr. Reddy's Laboratories GV Prasad said the vaccine could be available in India by November. Over 40,000 people may get the vaccine in first stock.
