Safe Space! A new class of exoplanets 'blanets' may exist around black holes

Researchers proposed that a new class of exoplanets may exist around supermassive black holes called 'blanets'. As per Japanese researchers, a safe zone exists around each black hole that might be occupied by numerous black-hole planets. They say blanets may have formed around newly-emerging stars in a similar way as planets do. Scientists also suggest that blanet formation may be more efficient than the planets.
