Safety matters for Swiggy as it delisted restaurants due to lack of safety approval

It is proved that FSSAI does care about consumer safety as in July it strictly ordered food delivery apps like Swiggy, Zomato, UberEats, and Food Panda to delist restaurants that are unlicensed and non-registered by September 30. As a result, the platforms removed 10,500 restaurants from its list for not having food safety regulator’s approval. Zomato delisted 2,500; Swiggy 4,000: Food Panda 1,800 and UberEats 2,000 hotels.
