SARS antibodies could block COVID-19 infection: Researchers say

Researchers from Switzerland & US had isolated antibodies from a patient in 2003 after the SARS outbreak. They experimented with 25 different types of antibodies to check if they could prevent cells from becoming infected with the coronavirus. Scientists have told that an antibody from a patient recovered from SARS has shown to block COVID-19 infection in a lab set up. This is a major breakthrough for coronavirus treatment.
