Second world war veteran who donned hats of all 3 forces gets silver salver

Second World War Veteran Colonel Prithipal Singh (retired), who served in all the three forces was honoured with a silver salver on behalf of Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat on the occasion of Veterans Day. The 100-year-old veteran participated in World War 2 and the 1965 Indo-Pak war. He retired as a Colonel when he was 70. During his last days of service, Mr Singh was posted with Assam Rifles in Manipur.
