Section 144 imposed outside SC after protest from lawyers over clean chit to CJI

The Supreme Court has given a clean chit to the Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi in sexual harassment case after the former SC lawyer, who filed cases, opted out of the inquiry. Since then lawyers and women activists are protesting outside the apex court over the procedure adopted to deal with allegations against the CJI. Amid heavy protests, Section 144 has been imposed by the police outside the court.
