Criminal Procedure Code’s Section 144 has been imposed in Ayodhya by the authorities citing the festive season and the verdict expected in the ongoing Ram Janmbhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case. The Supreme Court will give its verdict by November 17 after the hearing completes on October 18. Ayodhya district magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha tweeted to inform about the decision of imposing Section 144 in detail.
