Several rockets were fired by Hamas militants, with most of them hitting the area around Jerusalem. This was after the clash between Israeli Police and hundreds of Palestinians. In response to the rocket attack, Israel retaliated with rockets and drones and decimated several militant hideouts. Hamas’ military wing spokesman Abu Obeida said the rocket strike was in response to the Israeli “crimes and aggression” in Jerusalem.
