Sexual assault the highest among kids

A tertiary care centre in Pune revealed that 60% of the victims of sexual assault are below 18 years. B J Medical College medico-legal analysis says that out of 890 cases of sexual assault, 534 cases were of children. As per the study, the youngest accused was 11 years old and the oldest was 55. Officials also found out that the sexual assault cases were higher in the urban region (62.74%) as compared to rural areas (37.26%).
