Supreme Court asks UP government to file detailed status report in Lakhimpur Violence case by Friday

The Supreme Court has directed the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government to file a detailed status report in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case by Friday. The state government has been asked to file a detailed report on all aspects of the case including the deceased and the number of arrests made. The court has also asked the government to extend all possible medical help to the mother of deceased farmer Lovepreet Singh.
