Supreme Court overrules Delhi High court's order in Gautam Navlakha case

The Supreme Court today overruled a Delhi High Court order asking the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to produce records on transfer of activist Gautam Navlakha, who is facing charges under UAPA for alleged Maoist links following the violence in Bhima Koregaon. The apex court said the High Court has no jurisdiction in entertaining Navlakha’s bail plea. The top court added that only the courts in Mumbai have the jurisdiction.
