TB Vaccine in childhood may give COVID-19 protection: New Study

According to US researchers, the BCG vaccine given to newborns and children to prevent childhood tuberculosis appears to protect against COVID-19. The new study found coronavirus cases and deaths are higher in countries that don't have or have discontinued universal BCG vaccination of children. Death cases due to COVID-19 in the US, Italy and Spain have surpassed China, which was the epicentre initially.
