Three Arunachal Pradesh districts declared ‘disturbed areas’ under AFSPA by Home Ministry

Amid the continuous expansionist tactics of China, the Ministry of Home Affairs has declared three Arunachal Pradesh districts as “disturbed areas” under the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act. The districts that have been declared disturbed areas are Tirap, Changlang and Longding. Apart from this, the area falling within the jurisdiction of four police stations in Assam has also been declared as a "disturbed area".
