To mark shoot down of F-16, Abhinandan Varthaman's squadron gets new patches

Came into the limelight after the Balakot air strike, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman's Squadron has been honored with new shoulder patches with the title 'Falcon Slayers' to celebrate the shooting down of Pakistan Air Force's F-16 fighter jet on February 27, 2019. Abhinandan was posted at Srinagar airbase with his squadron No. 51 when PAF F-16 jets entered Indian air space to take revenge of Balakot airstrike.
