Tweets must continue to flow: Twitter responds to government notice

Microblogging platform Twitter wrote to the Union IT Minister while responding to the centre's directive to remove over 1000 accounts for allegedly spreading misinformation over the farmers' protest. "We strongly believe that the open and free exchange of information has a positive global impact, and that the Tweets must continue to flow," a spokesperson said. Twitter in its reply said, "safety of our employees is a top priority."
