UNICEF study reveals 1 of 5 boys married off even before turning 15

A study conducted by UNICEF has revealed that a shocking number of 115 million boys and men around the world are married much before reaching the legal age to do so. The data was accumulated from 82 countries in the past 10 years, and it shows that in the Central African Republic, Nicaragua and Madagascar, the rates of underage marriage is highest. However, the numbers are even more worrying for the women.
