UP Police books Jama Masjid cleric, son for objecting to national anthem inside mosque

Shaher Mufti, a cleric of Jama Masjid in Agra, has been booked by the UP Police for objecting to the recitation of the national anthem inside the mosque. An audio clip has been recovered by the police in which, the cleric could be heard slamming the hoisting of the Tricolor inside the mosque. The incident happened on August 15 when BJP leader Ashfaq Saifi and his supporters hoisted the tricolour inside the mosque.
