A professor who had been in a sit-in protest over the supposed grabbing of a property by a former legislator for more than 23 years has been detained for hanging his undergarments outside the collection office, said police on Saturday. The IPC was recorded against professor Vijay Singh. On 26 February 1996, he began his sit-in protest against the former legislator's supposed property seizure on the site.
