The US blacklisted 5 Chinese organisations involved in supercomputing with military-related applications, citing national security as a justification for denying its Asian geopolitical rival access to critical US technology. This move may complicate the talks between Trump and Xi Jinping next week, that is aimed at de-escalating trade dispute between 2 biggest economies. The groups are Sugon & Wuxi Jiangan Institute.
