US seizes $2.3 million in bitcoin from hackers' wallet who extorted Colonial Pipeline

The US Department of Justice has been successful in tracking down and recapturing 63.7 bitcoin worth nearly $2.3 million from the wallet containing ransom paid by Colonial Pipeline to hackers. According to FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate, Darkside, the alleged authors of the ransomware used to extort funds from, Colonial Pipeline, is a “Russia-based cybercrime group." He, however, provided no evidence to back his claim.
