"Utterly abhorrent": UN on Myanmar military firing live rounds on protestors
United Nations slammed the junta government in Myanmar for killing those taking part in the pro-democracy protests. “Myanmar’s military must stop murdering and jailing protesters. It is utterly abhorrent that security forces are firing live ammunition against peaceful protesters across the country," said UN rights chief Michelle Bachelet. Over 54 people have been killed while over 1,700 have been detained till now.
