The World Health Organisation Chief Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus once again urged wealthy nations to not resort to vaccine hoarding and called for a collective fight against the novel coronavirus. "Vaccine nationalism might serve short-term political goals. But it’s ultimately short-sighted and self-defeating," said Ghebreyesus. He further said the pandemic has "exposed and exploited the inequalities of our world."
