Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) vice-chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar spoke openly after the incidence of violence inside the campus. While the VC said that he stands with the protesting students but he asked why was no one talking about thousands of students and teachers who were stopped from registering. Taking a dig at Deepika, he said why are the "great personalities" not supporting the majority of silent students.
